Standard School Uniform:
Children will expected to wear:
- A white shirt
- Tie (clip-on or elastic)
- V-neck jumper or cardigan with logo
- Plain black school trousers or skirts
- Plain black school shoes or plain black trainers
PE kit:
Children are able to come to school in PE kit on PE days. PE kit consists of
- Plain white T-shirt (Not football shirts, strappy vest tops, T-shirts with logos etc.)
- Black shorts or joggers
- Suitable footwear (e.g. plain black trainers)
- An optional green hoodie / jumper (to stay warm)
Jewellery:
Rings, necklaces, bracelets should not be worn in school. Jewellery may be worn if required for medical reasons, e.g. a medical bracelet or a religious reason. Watches should not be smart watches and not linked to mobile phones.
Make Up & Nail Varnish:
Makeup and cosmetics are not considered appropriate or consistent with our school uniform and therefore should not be worn.
Nail varnish, gel nails or false nails should not be worn in school.
Buying uniform:
We are committed to keeping school uniform affordable. Most items can be purchased from supermarkets and high street retailers, and branded items are kept to a minimum in line with Department for Education guidance.
The only required branded items are a jumper / cardigan with school logo and our school tie. We have no items that can only be purchased from one specific retailer. Unbranded items can be bought for reasonable price from large suppliers such as Tesco or Matalan.

Pre-loved
Hardwick Baptist Church also regularly hold events to give away good condition second-hand uniforms for school. They can be contacted by messenger on their Facebook page. We encourage families to make use of good-quality pre-loved uniform where possible. This helps reduce costs and supports sustainability.
